Community Realty specializes in helping first-time homebuyers purchase homes in New York's Capital District. They are exclusive buyer agents with a buyer's interest at heart. Together with their partner organizations, Community Realty works to promote affordable homeownership and strengthen area neighborhoods by offering a wide range of services to help homebuyers throughout the region.

Community Realty is a socially-minded enterprise of the Affordable Housing Partnership of the Capital Region Inc., a private not-for-profit corporation.

Capital District Habitat for Humanity (CDHfH) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) membership organization created in 1988 to provide home ownership opportunities in partnership with low income households. Their goal is to ensure that everyone in the community has a decent home in which to live. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together in partnership to help build homes for those in need.

CDHfH is one of more than 1,600 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity, International, located around the world. Since 1976, these Habitats have built more than 200,000 homes in the United States and in 100 countries around the world.

Mutual Housing Association of Tompkins County

Mutual Housing Association of Tompkins County is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 manager, owner and developer of affordable housing in Tompkins County. The development of MHATC began in 1988 when concerned residents began to explore new forms of affordable housing that would provide an alternative to the traditional models of rental housing. The mutual housing model was selected because it creates stable communities where residents exercise a high degree of control over the decisions that affect their housing. Today, MHATC has successfully developed 30 units of affordable housing and is continuing to build.

Providing crisis intervention, advocacy, skills teaching, information, resources, encouragement and support, Unity House continues to help disadvantaged people lead productive and healthy lives.
